The members of the Senior and Youth Bands together with guests from Lanchester Band had a most productive morning on Sunday 13 June in the marching lesson.

Everyone there made great strides (sic) and mastered the skills of starting, marching in straight rank and file in step, wheeling right and left, from fives to threes and back to fives, counter-marching and stopping.

We even played at the same time!

We all send our sincere thanks to Alister from the Heavy Artillery Band who made all this possible, and without shouting at us, amazing.

Thanks also to Lee Staines of Spennymoor Leisure Centre who made the large hall available to us all morning, it is good to see Spennymoor organisations working for each other, well done Lee.
